Dresses fit for a princess
We wanted to say a big thank you to Anne Bayles from Norfolk in the UK (pictured above with her husband Jack), who has been busy making the most beautiful dresses for all the girls who we have resettled.
Anne makes these gorgeous dresses and skirts out of discarded material and recycles unwanted clothing. Anne is 87 years of age and we are so inspired by her zest for life, her passion for her work and for the love she pours into these beautiful garments.
It was wonderful to be able to pass these dresses onto Josephines step mother last week. Justine, the step mother hugged me SO tightly and was so overjoyed at these dresses fit for a princess. The girls were so eager to try them on - nothing like a new dress to put a smile on a girls face eh!
